Can I upload subscriber information with comma-separated values?

Yes. However, you should add headers for each column of your CVS. Use "Phone" and "Email" in two different headers. The order you put these in doesn't matter. If you're using an existing spreadsheet, take out any columns that aren't going to be used in CloudTXT. The CSV file name should be less than 128 characters, and you should separate headers with commas. If you only have one header total, you won't need commas. Make sure you review everything before uploading it into your CloudTXT account.

Which segments have high ROI?

There are several segments that usually prove higher ROI than others. Try targeting recent subscribers who haven't bought anything yet and entice them with a discount. You can also segment texts to active and engaged subscribers, people in specific geographic locations, and your VIP customers. However, the best way to determine your business' highest ROI segments is by doing A/B tests and studying your analytics.

Will I get charged for having a large contact list?

Don’t worry. We only charge based on the amount of SMS and MMS that you send. So, if you have a large list, you will only be charged for what you send.

What kind of support do I receive with CloudTXT?

How do I pay?

We accept all major credit cards and you can enter or update your payment details on your account page at any time.

As a general note, our 5-Day Free Trial does note require you to input a credit card. Only after the trial has ended will we require such information.

How do I change my plan?

Since you will only get charged when you send MMS and SMS, we do not require you to subscribe to a particular plan. You will just be charged based on a per message fee. For more information, please visit our Contact Page.

What is a short-code and when do I need one?

A short code is a 4-6 digit phone number that businesses use to deliver text messages to their customers. Short codes have a higher throughput than toll-free numbers, so if your business needs to send SMS messages to more than 95,000 people per month, we recommend upgrading from a complimentary toll-free number to a short code. Both are free when you sign-up. Once you reach the recommended sending volume, CloudTXT will reach out to help you secure a dedicated short code for your business.
